Stand-up paddleboarding is definitely a fun water activity for young and old, beginners and advanced paddlers alike. It’s a wonderful way to relax while paddling (Stand -UpPaddleboarding) and discover Curaçao’s beautiful nature at the same time. Join us on this unique tour through the mangroves of Spaanse Water.

Participants ages 12 and older: US$ 74 per person
Children 6 to 11 yrs. may ride along for free on a parent’s board, provided the child has at least swimming certificate A. Max. 1 child per board extra.
During the tour, you will receive a bottle of water and a snack. Afterwards, you will receive free digital photos.

A deposit of US$ 15 per person is required at the time of booking; the balance is due prior to the tour.

Location & transportation

SUP Curaçao is located on Spaanse Water, on the Caracasbaai side (past Vissershaven, then turn left).
If you’d like, you can arrange to be picked up and dropped off at home. Hotel Pickup service rates:
– All accommodations in the city: US$ 18 per person; free from Jan Thiel onward

If you come by your own transportation, you can park for free in the parking lot in front.

What to expect

This SUP tour is suitable for beginners and advanced paddlers. If you’ve never stood on a stand-up paddleboard before, don’t worry. It’s easy to learn, and you’ll receive clear instructions beforehand so you’ll be well-prepared when you hit the water.
The tour takes place on the Spaanse Water and takes you past the mangroves. It’s a beautiful nature reserve on Curaçao that you can really only reach by taking this SUP tour. In the mangroves, the water is very calm—no waves. So you’ll stand nice and steady on the board without wobbling around. Of course, a guide will accompany you and share all kinds of interesting stories along the way about the nature reserve you’re passing through. After about an hour, there’s a short break, and you’ll be offered a drink and a snack. Photos are taken during the tour, and you’ll receive digital copies for free afterward.
