Transportation

The trip departs from the large parking lot at the Waaigat. No transfer is offered for this excursion. From Pietermaai, Punda or the east side of Otrobanda, you can walk here. From other locations, you have to take the (rental) car. You can park for free.
If you don’t have your own transportation, we can arrange a cab for you.

What does the busboat tour look like?

After checking in for this super fun tour, you soon get to climb the ladder into the unique amphibious bus. Through the authentic neighborhoods (including Pietermaai and Saliña), the bus meanders past beautiful buildings and historic sites of Curacao. While the guide tells all sorts of interesting facts, you can relax and enjoy what you are driving by. After half an hour, you arrive at the place where the bus suddenly launched and “just suddenly” became a boat. The tour now continues over the Spanish Water, where, among other things, you can see along the coastline the most beautiful villas of Curacao, interspersed with the rugged (mangrove) nature. After an hour of sailing, the amphibious bus will leave the water again and drive back to the starting point at Waaigat in 30 minutes, where the tour ends.
