Good to know
- Minimum age 18. Anyone under 18 may only watch, with hearing protection, and may not enter the range.
- Sturdy closed-toe shoes required. Flip-flops, Crocs and sandals are not allowed.
- You may not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances, and you must be able to stand steadily and follow instructions.
- For safety reasons, the instructors may refuse or stop participation, without a refund.
- You must understand Dutch, Papiamentu or English well.

Vandaag zijn wij gaan schieten bij Third Shooting Monkey en wat was dit een indrukwekkende ervaring!
Via de app kregen we duidelijke instructies over hoe we naar de locatie moesten rijden. Alleen de rit ernaartoe was al een avontuur! Eenmaal aangekomen kwamen we bij een grote poort en direct viel op hoe goed alles beveiligd is. Daarna reden we met de auto verder naar de daadwerkelijke locatie.
Bij aankomst lagen alle wapens en de munitie al klaar. Dat was behoorlijk indrukwekkend en eerlijk gezegd voelde het een beetje alsof we zo een filmset op waren gelopen. Alles was goed geregeld: we kregen drinken, gehoorbescherming en een veiligheidsbril. Veiligheid stond duidelijk voorop.
Als complete leek kregen we een ontzettend goede en duidelijke uitleg. En wanneer de spanning even toesloeg en je niet meer precies wist wat je moest doen, stonden de instructeurs meteen klaar om je gerust te stellen en opnieuw uitleg te geven. Ze waren enorm behulpzaam, geduldig en vooral ontzettend complimenteus.
We waren met acht personen en mochten om de beurt schieten. Met de sniper en shotgun schieten op de ballonnen en vervolgens gericht op het hoofd en hart was echt zó indrukwekkend. Het is iets wat je eigenlijk zelf moet ervaren om te begrijpen hoe bijzonder het voelt.
Wat ons vooral is bijgebleven, waren de twee instructeurs. Ze waren oprecht begaan met iedereen en wisten je steeds weer vertrouwen te geven. Ze voelden zich absoluut niet verheven boven de mensen die daar kwamen schieten. Dat zag en voelde je aan alles. En juist dat is iets wat je niet kunt faken; dat zit gewoon in iemand.
Daardoor voelden wij ons al snel op ons gemak en zakte de spanning steeds meer weg.
We hebben ontzettend genoten van deze ochtend en zouden deze ervaring voor geen goud hebben willen missen!
Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die eens iets totaal anders wil beleven. Wij komen hier met een enorme glimlach op terug!
