Good to know
- Open-sea crossing: the way out takes 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours and can be rough, especially from January to July. Prone to seasickness? Take precautions before departure.
- Swimming to the beach: the dinghy takes guests ashore on arrival and back before departure, but does not shuttle during the day. In between, you swim to the boat, for lunch or the restroom.
- No facilities on the island: Klein Curaçao is uninhabited. The restrooms are on board, and beach chairs are limited.
- Alcohol only from 12:30 PM, and only for guests aged 18 and up.
- Balance online: you’ll receive a payment link; pay no later than 24 hours before departure. If the balance isn’t paid in time, the booking may be cancelled.

What to bring & Mark’s tips
- Bring your own snorkel gear: there are only a few masks on board and no fins, and the underwater world is beautiful.
- Snorkel after lunch: that’s when you’re most likely to see sea turtles around the boats.
- Walk to the lighthouse in the morning: it’s a 20 to 30-minute walk without shade. Bring water and a hat.
- Use reef-safe sunscreen and reapply often; on the water you burn quickly.
- Take it easy at the open bar: in the sun, alcohol hits faster than you think.
- No signal on Klein Curaçao: your phone is mostly a camera that day. A waterproof pouch is handy.
