Wouldn’t it be wonderful to actually interact with a dolphin? You can do it in Curaçao!
Dolphins on Curacao
There are various activities you can do with dolphins, known as Dolphin Experiences. All Dolphin Experiences include all-day admission to the park. Even if you’re not scheduled to do a Dolphin Swim, Dolphin Encounter, or Dolphin Snorkel until 2:00 p.m., you’re still allowed to stay in the park all day.
Dolphin Swim: Swim with dolphins
Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 am – 11:00 am. – 2:00 pm
Of course, it’s fun to interact with a dolphin while standing at the edge of the pool, but it’s even more fun to actually be in the water with the dolphin. You can do just that in Curaçao with a real Dolphin Swim. In the lagoon, you can play with the dolphins, and among other things, you’ll be able to use hand signals to have the dolphins perform tricks.
Dolphin Swim
- Most chosen Dolphin Experience
- Minimum heigth 4’3″ (1.30 meter)
- Per group (max. 6 persons) 2 dolphins
- Photos will be taken; taking your own camera into the water is not allowed
- All-day access to Sea Aquarium Park
If you are between 3.9 and 4.3 ft. (1.20 and 1.30 meter) tall, do a Dolphin Swim accompanied by an adult (1 child per 1 adult).
Dolphin Snorkel: Snorkeling with Dolphins
Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 am – 2:00 pm
If you’d like to interact with the dolphins more than just swimming in the pool, then a Dolphin Snorkel is for you. In the natural lagoon, you can dive into the water side-by-side with the dolphins and pet them and interact with them underwater. And with your diving goggles on, you can really admire the dolphins underwater!
Dolphin Snorkel
- Same as the Dolphin Swim, but with a snorkel set so even more fun!
- Minimum heigth 4.8 ft (1,50 mter).
- Per group (max. 6 persons) 2 dolphins
- You may bring your own camera into the water
- All-day access to Sea Aquarium Park
Dolphin Encounter: playing with dolphins
Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 am – 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
How fun is it to have an extended one-on-one “meet & greet” with a dolphin—a real Dolphin Encounter? You’ll perform tricks and cuddle together, all while you stand relaxed at the edge of the pool, waist-deep in the water. Meanwhile, the trainer will share all sorts of interesting facts about the dolphin, and of course, a professional photographer will stop by to take some beautiful photos of you with the dolphin.
Dolphin Encounter
- Great for children (all ages).
- Children under 4.3 ft. (1,30 meter) only with an adult
- Only Dolphin Experience suitable for pregnant women
- Per group (max. 6 persons) 1 dolphin
- Photo with a kiss from a dolphin
- All-day access to Sea Aquarium Park
Spectators welcome
Do you have any friends or family who’d like to come along and watch while you enjoy this wonderful and unique experience? That’s possible. For €20 per person, they can come inside as spectators and watch you interact with the dolphins from the special spectator areas.
You can add spectators directly when you book an Experience.
Location
The dolphin park is right next to Mambo Beach. If you book a Dolphin Encounter, Dolphin Swim, or Dolphin Snorkel, you can walk around the park all day (including before your experience).
Opening hours
The park is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
In addition to the special “Dolphin Experiences,” there is a fun training demonstration every day. These demonstrations last about 15 minutes and start at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
If you’ve booked a Dolphin Encounter, Dolphin Swim, or Dolphin Snorkel, you can explore the park for free all day long (even before your Dolphin Experience).
Book on time!
If you want to cuddle, swim, or snorkel with dolphins during your vacation, you’ll need to book well in advance. This is—and rightly so—one of the most popular activities for tourists on Curaçao, so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
Not sure yet if you want to do the Dolphin Experience? No problem—you can change or cancel your reservation free of charge up to 24 hours in advance.
