For each buggy booked, you bring one driver who is 21 yr. or older and holds valid driver’s license.

When booking, you make a deposit of US$ 43, US$ 63 or US$ 83 per buggy. For the remainder you will receive a payment request via e-mail, to be paid one or two days in advance.

Location & Transportation

The Buggy tour departs from the parking lot at Dreams Curacao Resort on the west side of town. You can park here for free. There is no Hotel Pickup Service offered for this tour. If you do not have your own transportation, check out this other UTV tour, which offers free pickup service from the larger accommodations in and around town.

What to expect.

This small-scale buggy tour is a real winner. You go out with up to 5 buggies (+ the guide’s buggy), so the guide has plenty of time for everyone along the way as well. After checking in, you’ll get an explanation about the buggy so everything is safe. And then off you go quickly! First you drive from Dreams Curacao on the public road to the north, where near the airport you drive onto the plain of Hato. This is where the fun begins! This area, also called ‘the mini desert of Curacao’ is a wonderful terrain where the buggies come into their own. The sandy paths with potholes and bumps are ideal for fun cruising. If it has been dry for a while, the dust crawls up into your pores; if it has rained heavily recently, the mud splashes around your ears. Halfway, you stop to visit an ancient cave.
After leaving the sandy plain behind you, you take the public road from the north coast to the south coast. At Kokomo Beach you will have the opportunity to jump into the sea to wash off all the dust and mud. During the last stretch from Kokomo back to Dreams Resort you stop at St. Michiel to spot the flamingos.

Are you with an odd number of people? For US$ 90, one person can ride with the tour guide. Of course, during the breaks you can switch who rides with the tour guide. Please note that this cannot be arranged online, please contact us via WhatsApp.

To take this Buggy Tour, the driver must be 21 yr. old. or older and possess valid driver’s license (show driver’s license at check-in).
Each passenger is at least 4 ft. tall, there is no minimum passenger age.
This tour is not suitable for persons with back or neck problems and not allowed for pregnant women. Before departure, each passenger must sign a Waiver. lang, er geldt geen minimum leeftijd voor de passagier.
Deze tour is niet geschikt voor personen met rug- of nekproblematiek en niet toegestaan voor zwangere vrouwen. Voor vertrek moet iedere passagier een Waiver ondertekenen.

– Grease yourself well against the sun. You don’t have a roof on your buggy so you are in the sun fulltime. Put on a cap (backwards otherwise it will blow off) and put sunscreen on your legs as well because they get a lot of sun as well.
– Put on your swimwear at home, under your regular clothes. At Kokomo Beach you can rinse off the dust in the sea, so it’s nice to walk into the sea with your dirty clothes on and not have to change in a changing room first.
– Especially with mud (after heavy rain), there is a chance that the splatters will not be completely washable from your clothes. So don’t put on your newest clothes.
