  • US$ 239 per sloop (max. 6 people) for 3 hours of boating.
  • A deposit of US$ 350 is required upon check-in

When booking you make a deposit of US$ 35, the remainder you pay no later than 24 hours in advance.

Location

You are sailing on Spanish Water. Check-in is on the Caracas Bay side, at The Village Marina right next to the traffic circle at the end of Caracas Bay Road on the left side of the road. You can park for free. No Hotel Pick-up Service is offered, on request we can arrange a cab for you (at an additional cost).

What to expect.

If you feel like a relaxed and comfortable afternoon cruising in a luxury boat, then you are in the right place with this modern sloop.
Of course, check-in begins with clear sailing instructions (Dutch or English) and you will be given a navigation chart. It is quite easy to steer the sloop, but because safety comes first, you will be provided with safety equipment, there is radio contact possible and a safety escort boat will sail along at an appropriate distance.
For the comfort on board you will not be short of anything either: A cool box to keep your drinks nice and fresh. A bluetooth speaker to play your favorite music. A sun deck to soak up the sun (with max. 3 passengers). A swimming ladder to easily get in and out of the water.
Optionally, you can make the trip even more beautiful: rent a fishing rod to catch a fish or book delicious sushi (from Villa Vis) to feast on during the trip.
You rent the boat for 3 hours (10:00 – 13:00 or 14:30-17:30) and in those 3 hours you determine the route*, because you are the captain! The boat sails max. 15 km/h, max. 6 people per boat and of course you get a full tank of fuel. Everything is thought of, it will be a carefree trip!
Around the Spanish Water are the most beautiful villas of Curaçao, interspersed with the rugged rugged nature. sail around to discover the lagoon and enjoy the beautiful nature of Curaçao.
*: it is not allowed to take the sloop out into the open sea. This is too dangerous with too great a risk of capsizing due to the waves.

Isla Capitano

If you also want to get away from the sloop while cruising, you can go to the exclusive Isla Capitano, a floating private island with loungers and a picnic table. Ultimate enjoyment!

  • A minimum age of 21 is required to drive the boat. If in doubt, id will be asked for at check-in.
  • A boating license is not required. At check-in, there is safety instruction for all guests, plus an explanation of how to drive and control the boat.
  • A deposit of US$350 will be required at check-in and a Waiver must be signed.

  • The sloop comes complete with also all kinds of extras such as a cool box, bluetooth sound speaker, etc.
  • What you need to take care of yourself are mainly your personal items. Think of sunscreen, sunglasses, cap/hat, etc., your swimwear (put it on at home already under your regular clothes) and bathing towel and possibly your snorkeling gear.

Eten & drinken

  • You may bring your own food and drink. There is a cool box available to keep things cool.
  • When making reservations, you can also order sushi, which is delivered by Villa Vis, one of Curaçao’s most famous seafood restaurants.

Veiligheid

  • Even if you have never sailed before, you will enjoy this trip carefree as captain. The sloop is easy to drive, but of course you will receive clear instructions (in Dutch) at check-in.
  • If there are questions for the crew during the trip, you have a VHF radio on board that allows you to make radio contact with the crew.
  • At an appropriate distance, someone from the crew will sail with you so that in case of trouble, help will be at your sloop quickly.
  • Anyway, there are the necessary safety items on board, such as a life jacket and a fire extinguisher for everyone.

Betaling

  • You make a deposit of EUR 30 per sloop at the time of booking.
  • You pay the balance no later than 24 hours prior to the trip via an online payment request.
  • A deposit of US$350 (or CG 650 or EUR 350) is required at check-in, which you can pay by credit card or cash.

Wijzigen of annuleren

If you have rented a sloop, you can change or cancel up to 48 hours in advance, completely free of charge. If we are already within 48 hours before the booked date then charges may apply.
