Transportation
The Powerboat departs from Jan Thiel beach, the jetski tour from Caracasbaai (right next to the traffic circle to Jan Thiel). At both locations you can park your rental car for free.
With both the Powerboat and the jetski tour, no Hotel Pickup Service is offered.
What to expect.
This will be double fun! Pure adrenaline rushes through your body, and then twice!
Powerboat
For this trip to Klein Curacao, you will be expected at Jan Thiel beach at 09:45. The boat leaves at 10:00 and will be back at 16:00. In 45 minutes you will sail to Klein Curacao and laughingly pass other boats that take up to 2x longer to get to Klein Curacao. Plus the big advantage: because of the speed and the construction of the Powerboat you will not suffer from seasickness. Once you arrive on Klein Curacao, you can make your own plans. See the iconic lighthouse or washed up shipwrecks, walk along the longest beach in all of Curacao, take a dip in the crystal clear sea or relax in the Powerboat’s beach hut where you can sit in the shade and have a drink (included in the price).
For lunch a delicious bbq is offered. After lunch you still have about an hour to relax, e.g. go in search of the big sea turtles that often come early in the afternoon to say hello. Around 15:00 it is already time to pack your things and get ready for the return trip. Step aboard the Powerboat again and vroeemmmmm….. there the boat shoots off. In no time you will be back on Jan Thiel beach.
Jet ski tour
The jet ski tour is available every day, every hour between 09:00 and 16:00. You can book a jet ski for just yourself, or take a passenger on the back for free. Everyone is handed a life jacket (mandatory) and then quickly to the machines. You will get some explanations about the jet ski (accelerating, braking, etc.) and then quickly off. You will do a nice tour on the Spanish Water, a large inland water near Jan Thiel with along the shore the most beautiful villas of Curaçao. The tour is in small groups and with a guide up front. But you really do get the opportunity to open up the throttle and shoot across the water at about 60 km/h! About halfway through there is a small break and for the jet skis with 2 people on it the opportunity to swap drivers.
In total the tour takes one hour, of which about 45 minutes sailing time. Depending on the current/waves you might also go out to open sea for a bit.
