The Avila Beach Hotel offers not one, but two delightful private beaches, located right at the resort. See the beautiful house reef while snorkeling or venture out on a stand-up sup board that the hotel offers free of charge to its guests. Beach beds (free) and, of course, free beach towel service. There is also an infinity pool. Refresh with a cocktail, wine or beer at the extraordinary Schooner Bar or the Pool Bar. The hotel offers all-day drinks, snack and breakfast to dinner (including vegetarian and vegan options) on the beach. Enjoy fun happy hours and live music on the beach during weekly events.

The Avila Beach Hotel offers lodging, bed & breakfast, half board and full board at its restaurants. Buffet breakfast is served at The Pen Breakfast and can be enjoyed at The Pen Restaurant & Terrace with beautiful ocean views. For lunch and dinner you can also visit the sea terrace. For a cooling drink or tasty snack, the Schooner Bar or Pool Bar is the place to be. The BBQ Night every Saturday and Avila’s Beach Vibes on Wednesdays are highly recommended!

The Avila Beach Hotel is continuously improving its hotel. Even more sustainable, even more innovative, even more beautiful and even more comfortable. For example, in the summer of 2022, all Octagon Standard rooms were completely renovated. It is a long-stretched resort with the historic lobby located in the original villa as its central and most historic point. This building dates back to the 18th century and still has served as a country residence of Gouveneurs, boys’ boarding school and a private clinic. There is a casual, warm and stylish atmosphere in the hotel and for that reason the hotel is also very popular with locals, as well as Dutch celebrities, politicians, royalty and influencers because of all the photogenic spots and views.

The Avila Beach Hotel offers 131 rooms and 26 apartments divided into wings in completely different styles. You have the classic La Belle Alliance wing with lovely (Oceanfront) rooms and beautiful apartments, a penthouse and suite. There is also the Caribbean Oceanfront Blues wing (18+) where all rooms have spectacular ocean views and are great for honeymooners. Finally, there is the contemporary Octagon wing with rooms that include extra accessible rooms. All rooms and apartments include a balcony or terrace, air conditioning, bathroom, mini-fridge, safe, coffee maker with cups and kettle, flat-screen TV with cable and 2 queen-size beds or 1 king-size bed.

At the Avila Beach Hotel you can relax very well, but at the same time be active. Loosen up in the ocean-view gym, spin classes or outdoor pilates, swim laps in the infinity pool or paddle on the stand-up sup board. Explore the house reef while snorkeling, and for a fee you can also enjoy delicious massage or beauty treatment and also haircut. For children, there is also E Mucha, which adds value not only to their vacation but also to their lives through interactive workshop at E Mucha that helps them deal with certain fears, fear of failure or how to handle emotions or sibling rivalry. Parents can also participate in workshops, such as Positive Parenting or how to best interact with your children during puberty. At the Octagon Museum, you will learn about the history of the hotel and about Simon Bolivar, the Napoleon of South America.
