What to expect
A trip on the Powerboat is a unique experience in any case, guaranteed to give you an adrenaline rush thanks to the speed at which you fly across the water with at least 400 PK of engine power behind the boat. After picking up passengers at Jan Thiel and Mambo, the trip will really get started. First, we’ll head to the St. Anna Bay , to get a unique, up-close view of the Pontjesbrug. While many tourists can only walk across this world-famous bridge—nicknamed the “Swinging Old Lady”—you’ll also get to see it from underneath. Then it’s a quick (super quick!) trip to Tugboat, Curaçao’s No. 1 snorkeling spot. This sunken tugboat lies at a depth of about 7 meters, and there’s always plenty of coral and colorful fish to see here. It’s a lot of fun to snorkel!
Finally, a beautiful tour of the Spanish Water. This is a spacious inland lake (actually a lagoon) with Curaçao’s most beautiful villas lining the shoreline, interspersed with stunning, rugged nature. Another advantage of a trip on the Powerboat: you’re virtually guaranteed not to get seasick.
The total duration is 2.5 hours, consisting of 2 hours of cruising and half an hour of snorkeling.
So if you’re looking for a great boat trip with that extra thrill—one that doesn’t take too long and is fun for all ages—then this is the trip for you!
