- The off-road section is bumpy and windy: hold on tight and take off your cap in the jeep.

- Put sunscreen on beforehand and bring some along. Reef-safe sunscreen is better for the reef when you snorkel.
- Swimwear and a towel for Directeursbaai; you can change at the aloe plantation.
- Shoes with grip for the climb to the cave; water shoes come in handy on the rocky beach.
