A deposit of US$ 30 per person is required at the time of booking; the balance is due no later than 24 hours before departure.

Transportation

You can be picked up from the larger accommodations in/around town. Rate US$ 15 p.p.
Hotel pickup is free from Jan Thiel.
If you come by your own car, you can park for free in the parking lot across from the Village Marina check-in location.

What to expect

You are expected to check in at Village Marina (Caracasbaai) at 8:00 am. After a brief briefing from the captain, the catamaran departs at 8:30 am, and the fun begins right away as you sail out across the Spaanse Water and breakfast sandwiches are served. Before long, you’ll leave the city behind and sail past all kinds of beautiful beaches and idyllic coves along the west coast. Three stops will be made:

Kokomo

One of Curacao’s most popular beaches. The boat anchors in the bay after which you can enjoy swimming and snorkeling. Along the rocks on the side you will find the smallest beach in Curacao. A wonderful start to the day!

Cas Abou

Cas Abao Beach is a must see! This beach has been named among the best beaches in the world by National Geographic and others. Swim, snorkel and relax. Meanwhile, the crew on board will prepare a delicious BBQ lunch for you.

Blue Room

After lunch we head to Blue Room, a cave accessible only by sea where the sun and sky transform this underwater cave into a beautiful “blue room.” Under the guidance of the crew, you can explore this beautiful cave.

Back by bus

After Blue Room, the catamaran continues on toward Westpunt, Playa Kalki. At Playa Kalki, the bus will be waiting to take you back to the city. Unique! This is the only West Coast catamaran trip that takes you back to the city by bus. That has a major advantage: no chance for motion sickness, which is a risk when sailing from Westpunt toward the city (always against the current).
Around 05:30 pm you will be back at Village Marina and the tour will come to an end. No doubt you had a wonderful day!

Why is this trip a must?

The only Westcoast trip that actually sails to West Point (Playa Kalki). You’ll see most of the beaches!
Because you always sail outward with the current and return by bus. The only catamaran trip with no chance of seasickness.
This is the most popular West Coast trip, the only one that goes 3x a week.

Other info

Bring sun protection with you. A cap, sun hat, UV shirt, a thin cloth, etc. Especially in the afternoon, it can get very hot on the boat and you will be glad for every bit of sun protection.
If you go back by bus, there are no drinks available on the bus. Take care of this yourself by grabbing 1 or 2 cans of drinks just before you disembark at Playa Kalki.
On the way back, the bus already passes some accommodations that are on the route for guests who had booked a transfer. If you don’t feel like sitting out the whole bus ride, book the transfer yourself.
