Golf Curacao: 3 golf courses
With plenty of sunshine 365 days a year, Curacao is obviously an ideal location for a golf vacation. Two of the three locations are at an exclusive resort, so you can hit the green right after your breakfast. Needless to say, the greens are well maintained, making it beautifully green despite the daily bright sun. All three golf courses are located around Willemstad, so if you want to see more than your resort you have plenty of options.
Blue Bay Curacao Golf Resort
Curaçao’s most famous golf course is that of Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort. With 18 holes and par 72, this is a beautiful golf course that is a challenge for players of any skill level. The course’s designer (William “Rocky” Rocquemore) made perfect use of the golf course’s natural surroundings. The challenges of sand, sea, rocks and elevation change abound on the 18 holes. In fact, Hole 5 is famous and infamous for it: you have to hit quite a bit over the sea.

Old Quarry Golf Course
Rated by many as the best golf course in Curaçao. In fact, named the best golf course in all of the Caribbean by USA Today in 2018 and 2019. The course (18 holes) has been there since 2010 and was designed by Peter Rye. It is a beautiful course with challenges for every skill level. This golf course is on the grounds of Santa Barbara, which also houses the luxurious 5-star Sandals Royal Curacao (all-inclusive & adult only resort)

Curacao Golf and Squash Club
A beautiful, small 9-hole (27 par) golf course can be found in the middle of Curaçao, at the Curaçao Golf and Squash Club. There is a friendly atmosphere, but the course is perfectly maintained and perhaps the best maintained golf course in Curaçao. The holes are not difficult; the greens are easily accessible. This golf course was once built specifically for Shell employees, and you can still find that nostalgia, among other things, in the clubroom.

Golf Event on Curacao
The Curacao Invitational Golf Tournament is held annually in November at the Blue Bay golf course. A long weekend of top-notch golf in Curacao. It is also a fun event to attend as a spectator.
Golf trip Curacao
Unfortunately, there are currently no fully organized golf tours offered to Curacao. However, you can easily put together your own golf trip by renting accommodation at Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort or at Sandals Royal Curacao, which allows you to sleep within walking distance of the golf course, sometimes even with your apartment or vacation villa right on the golf course. But just as easily you can book any other accommodation in Curacao everything is close by.
