The route is about <strong>5 km (3 miles)<\/strong> and starts at the Pal&ugrave; Blanku roundabout. From there, the parade follows Schottegatweg West and Roodeweg to Otrobanda. They follow the same route as the horse parade, but in reverse: toward downtown. The start is at the intersection of F.D. Rooseveltweg and Jan Noorduynweg, about 4 km (2.5 miles) south of the airport.
