On this page, I will introduce myself<\/strong> <strong>as part of Team NaarCuracao.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mark van der Panne &#8211; basics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Born in 1973, raised in Alphen aan den Rijn<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lives in The Hague with wife, three children and two dogs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Summer 2013, we went on a 9-month sabbatical with our family in Cura\u00e7ao<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Curacao<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My love for Cura\u00e7ao started dormant with our first vacation to this beautiful island in 2009, our honeymoon. In late 2012, a number of things came together in our family, giving us a &#8220;now or never&#8221; opportunity for a sabbatical. Also because of the language for the children, the choice for Cura\u00e7ao was quickly made. And we didn&#8217;t regret that for a moment! From August 2013 to April 2014, we had the opportunity to live on this wonderful island and became even more infected with the Curacao virus.
