And we actually think that\u2019s unfair. The West Coast trips are really fun\u2014according to many, even more fun than Klein Cura\u00e7ao.   Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-2a6d2d38 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;padding-left:25px\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px\">1. You see more of Cura\u00e7ao<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px\">On a day trip to Klein Cura\u00e7ao, you\u2019ll only see the small island of Klein Cura\u00e7ao. It\u2019s certainly worth seeing, but you won\u2019t get to see anything else of Cura\u00e7ao itself that day. If you go on a West Coast trip, you\u2019ll get to enjoy the rugged natural beauty along Cura\u00e7ao\u2019s coast all day long, interspersed with beautiful little beaches and coves. On top of that, you\u2019ll make <strong>several swimming stops<\/strong> on a West Coast trip, for which the captain naturally picks out the most beautiful spots on Cura\u00e7ao. And each of those spots has something unique that sets it apart from the other locations you\u2019ll see during this trip. In short: you\u2019ll see more of beautiful Cura\u00e7ao!     <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-79643a9a wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:0px;padding-left:25px\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px\">2. More variety throughout the day<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px\">If you\u2019re going to Klein Cura\u00e7ao, the day can basically be divided into three parts: the trip there, a few hours on Klein Cura\u00e7ao, and then the trip back. If you join a West Coast trip, the day is much more varied, thanks to the swimming stops along the way. You\u2019ll spend the whole day cruising short stretches where you can relax on the boat in the sun, enjoying a drink and the view. Then there\u2019s another swim stop, followed by a bit more sailing, and so on. And just like that, the day drifts along very leisurely toward its end\u2014you won\u2019t be bored for a moment because pretty much every half-hour is different from the one before it.    <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-79643a9a wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:0px;padding-left:25px\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px\">3. On the boat<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px\">If you take a catamaran to Klein Cura\u00e7ao, there are no facilities available on the island itself. The bar, lunch, restrooms, or some relaxing background music while you lounge in the sun\u2014you\u2019ll have to get all that on the boat. For example, if you want to lounge in the sun on the beach at Klein Cura\u00e7ao and have a drink, you\u2019ll have to swim about 20 meters out to the boat.<br>You don\u2019t have that problem on a West Coast trip, because you\u2019ll be on or around the boat all day long. All the amenities are conveniently right there around you. So when you\u2019re relaxing in the sun, your partner can quickly and easily grab you a delicious, cool drink from the bar.     Optimal enjoyment!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-79643a9a wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:0px;padding-left:25px\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px\">4. No chance of seasickness<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px\">For some people, this is a reason not to go to Klein Cura\u00e7ao: on the morning trip there, you always have to go against the current, and if the current is just a little too strong, there are always a few passengers on board who get seasick. Once you\u2019re on Klein Cura\u00e7ao, it passes quickly, and you won\u2019t be bothered by it for the rest of the day\u2014including the return trip\u2014but it\u2019s still unpleasant to have to start the day feeling so sick (read the tips here to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.naarcuracao.com\/en\/klein-curacao-seasickness\/\">minimize the risk of seasickness<\/a>).<br>You won\u2019t have this problem on many West Coast trips. In the morning (on the way to Westpunt), you\u2019ll be sailing with the current, so the boat barely rocks at all and you won\u2019t suffer from seasickness. For the return trip, some tours offer a great solution so you don\u2019t have to sail against the current: all guests take a bus back to the city. This way, you avoid the risk of seasickness and, as a bonus, you also get to enjoy a fun bus tour through the western part of Cura\u00e7ao.     <br>&#8220;Return by bus&#8221; is not included with all trips. However, it is included with the &#8220;Tugboat &amp; Blue Room&#8221; and &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.naarcuracao.com\/en\/tour-item\/westcoast-beaches-bbq-blue-room\/\">Beaches, BBQ &amp; Blue Room<\/a>&#8221; trips.<br>If you take the Powerboat, you definitely won\u2019t get seasick, even when traveling against the current. Thanks to the boat\u2019s shape and speed, you\u2019re 99.5% certain not to suffer from seasickness on the Powerboat.
